Position Summary
As a Cloudera Administrator, you'll play a pivotal role in deploying, securing, and maintaining our Cloudera CDP Private Cloud environment.
You will lead the deployment and configuration of CDP Private Cloud according to architectural best practices, implement security configurations (Kerberos, Apache Ranger, TLS/SSL, SSO), and integrate core Hadoop ecosystem components (HDFS, YARN, Hive, Spark, NiFi, Kafka). You will also ensure the landing zone setup and support the development team in building the Medallion architecture.
Additionally, you will provide operational support for production and non-production clusters — monitoring, troubleshooting, performance tuning, capacity planning, audits, patching, and version upgrades.
Communication will be entirely in English.

What You’ll Do And What You’ll Need
Your Responsibilities
- Lead the deployment and configuration of Cloudera CDP Private Cloud, ensuring alignment with architectural best practices.
- Implement and manage security configurations, including Kerberos, Apache Ranger (authorization), TLS/SSL encryption, and SSO integration.
- Perform deep integration with core Hadoop ecosystem components (HDFS, YARN, Hive, Spark, NiFi, Kafka, etc.).
- Ensure the successful setup of the landing zone and support the development team in building the Medallion architecture.
- Provide operational support for production and non-production clusters, including monitoring, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and capacity planning.
- Conduct regular system audits, patch management, and version upgrades.
Experience & Skills We Are Looking For
Required
- 3+ years of hands-on experience administering Cloudera CDP (Private Cloud or CDH/CDP transition experience)
- Strong knowledge of the Hadoop ecosystem: HDFS, YARN, Hive, Spark, Kafka, NiFi
- Experience implementing security configurations: Kerberos, Apache Ranger, TLS/SSL, SSO integration
- Solid Linux administration skills and troubleshooting experience in production environments
- Experience with monitoring, performance tuning, and capacity planning for distributed clusters
- English — Upper-Intermediate or higher (communication will be entirely in English)
Desired
- Cloudera certifications (e.g., Cloudera Certified Administrator)
- Experience with the Medallion architecture and data lakehouse patterns
- Familiarity with patch management and version upgrade automation
- Experience supporting both production and non-production environments in an international team
- Knowledge of containerization/orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus
